The short version
Your prompts, your code and your files never leave your computer. Trackaboo reads the transcripts your AI tools already keep on your machine, turns them into numbers, and sends only those numbers. Nobody at Trackaboo can read what you typed or what you built.
What never leaves your machine
- The text of your prompts, and the answers you got back
- Your code, your file names and your file contents
- Screenshots, keystrokes and screen recordings — Trackaboo does not take any
What we do store
- Your name and email address, from sign-up or from Google if you sign in that way
- Your password, stored scrambled so it cannot be read back — only if you set one
- Which organization and team you belong to, and your role in it
- Counts and timings: how many jobs, which AI tool and model, how long, estimated cost
- An identifier for each computer you install Trackaboo on
- Sign-in records, which include your IP address and browser, so we can spot break-in attempts
- If you pay: your plan and subscription status. Card details go to Stripe, never to us
Who else touches it
- Railway — runs the servers and holds the database
- Resend — delivers confirm and password-reset emails
- Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google
- Stripe — only if you pay, and they handle the card, not us
We do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising or analytics trackers.
Cookies
One cookie, to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
What your admin can see
If you join an organization, its admins and your team lead can see your numbers — job counts, tools used, estimated spend. They cannot see your prompts or your code, because those never reach Trackaboo at all. Trackaboo does not rank people against each other.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. Ask us to delete your account and we remove your numbers with it.
Your choices
Email hello@trackaboo.dev to get a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted.
Children
Trackaboo is a tool for working developers and is not intended for under-18s.
Changes
If this page changes we update the date at the top. Material changes are emailed to account holders.
